One of my clients had a desire to break down all of the deposits made into their bank account by their merchant processor by item. The merchant processor did not store this data, nor was there an aggregate report that would show which transactions were included in a particular bank disbursement. It was a fairly straightforward process to combine a few spreadsheets and summarize in Excel, however, the client was cost sensitive and would prefer that their bookkeeping staff be able to complete the data entry. 

This turned out to be a complex challenge and required reporting from both the merchant processor, Stripe, and the e-commerce platform, Infusionsoft. Using an ETL, I was able to combine three reports into an Excel sheet that could be swiftly pivoted into a format that the bookkeeping staff was comfortable with.
